My son now 22 was diagnosed with bipolar at age 12 but had been showing signs of it from age 3. Not sure how we can connect through e-mail without my posting my adress here but I'd be happy to "chat" about my experiences.

My son is five and a half, and was diagnosed in February of this year as bi-polar. It has definitely been a struggle!! Would love to connect and share with other parents!!!

My nephew was diagnosed with early onset childhood bipolar. He is 6 yrs old and in 1st grade. My sister continuously struggles with the behaviors at home and at school. He recently has had a ppd/nos diagnosis added. "One day at a time" we say to one another.

My 4-year-old is being looked at for a bipolar diagnosis, but hasn't been diagnosed as of yet. He does have an existing diagnosis of autism. How do you go about telling the difference? There are similarities between the two. I think I was told that it became clearer as they get older.
