A Florida mother kept her 17-year-old adopted son in a cage in her home and starved him. She was sentenced to 20 years in jail for it, the Associated Press reported. The sentence in the case of Brenda Sullivan, 51, was given on Thursday. I have lots to say about that, but it's mostly expletives. Why do people give birth/adopt/become foster parents if they have no compassion for children?

This makes me so sad too.....and Em, I dont think I will ever Understand this one either.Like you said, she gets a crapper which was more than he got.
