Kids Clear™ is a 100% pure pharmaceutical grade bentonite clay that has a very high cation exchange capacity (a 98-107 meq/100g on the CEC scale), which means it has a very high ionic surface charge when mixed with warm water. The Kids Clear™ Detoxifying Clay Baths not only draw out chemical toxins and pollutants from the body, it also assists in pulling out heavy metals like mercury, cadmium, arsenic, aluminum, copper and lead. http://www.evenbetternow.com/proddetail.php?prod=kidclear

Interesting.....Would you mind posting this in the library under Biomedical or Alternative treatments? Great resource...

I bought this clay and started doing the clay baths until my tub got clogged - I don't know if it was the clay since it is supposed not to clog your pipes, or it was something else like grease i dumped or something.
With the baths I saw 'some' progress, but I wasn't sure if it was the clay baths, or the epsom salts which I also did the days I did not use the clay, or the DMSA or what of the pile of supplements...
It was until recently (Oct 1) that in one of those stages of desperation, I started researching about the benefits of taking it internally, I called even better now and asked them how to prepare it and I did it right away.
Hendrix's special ed teacher and I have a 'journal. Everyday, bless her, she writes what they did and any behaviors, any progress, just anything. And Hendrix was just so naughty, always bitting, hitting, scratching and spitting when he did not want to do something or stop doing something.
I have to say that the bentonite clay taken internally was the thing that has given me the quicker results, as soon as I started giving it to Hendrix, just the next day there was progress at school specially with 'changes' in behaviors, so of course I have been continuing to give it to him everyday.
Then, last week, I went to the health store for some raw honey, and started talking to the lady who was attending me about Hendrix, I have been so excited about the clay that i mentioned it to her and she said that since it is a pharmaceutical grade, even though it is good it cannot be as good as the real all natural bentonite clay, especially the one from Redmond which has over 50 minerals in it on top of the detox qualities. So just yesterday in another moment of desperation after work... I went to the Redmond store, which I happen to be lucky to have it in town, when I arrived to the store I looked so bad the girl asked me what was wrong. I bought their clay, and inmediately started giving it to Hendrix yesterday. I keep seeing progress but it is still too soon to tell if this clay is better than the other.
In just a matter of 3 weeks, since I started giving him clay to eat, his vocabulary has progressed, now he is using 'verbs', and is coming up with new things like just yesterday he pointed at the TV and said, 'mommy, my house' I almost cried! And a while ago when he was ready to go to sleep, he came to me and said, 'mommy, turn it off' pointing to the living room where his movie was playing... This are things that he never did before and I hope they don't go away.
Zurama, you know, I have seen Mickie's videos for about 2 years now (I am the same HendrixMom in youtube) I have no idea if you have tried the clay internally or not, but if you haven't yet, give it a try, it is more effective that way than in the baths.

I remember you!!! It's really good to hear from you! :)
At this point I have not tried the clay, because Mickie won't allow his bathtub to be filled with water, but I didn't know you could eat it, cuz he will eat anything, lol.
I'm in California-who would sell it here? What about online? Mickie has not made much progress other then less aggressiveness. No language at all though he will try to say a word if I ask him.
