My Prayer for the New Year

mighty generous lord
i greatly hunger for the ability to praise you and
sing your praises with my voice
heal me loving messiah
you have the ability to give calmness to my
awful irritating ways
rare to think how i must look to others and how
appalling i must seem
you believe in me and i totally want to believe
in myself
i need the peace of your love to rescue me from
this dreaded false autism
help hindrances disappear so that my awkward
autism will not keep me locked in places in my
mind where i live alone in a distant and dark
solitude
take hostility out of my life and let me worship you
thank you jesus for my highly dependant life and
for those that i am dependant on
