Mountain Mike's Gluten Free Pizza in California

Apparently, there is a pizza chain in CA called Mountain Mikes, and they have recently introduced a gluten-free pizza!  Here is the info.  I wonder if they deliver to Maine?

Re: Mountain Mike's Gluten Free Pizza in California

We went GFCF this fall. Soon after offering Carson his favorite burger on a GFCF bun - he tried a new food...PIZZA that his sister was eating. Of course NOT GFCF. So now I'm on a quest of good GFCF. I think I may have to settle for GF b/c the only CF cheese I have come across causes me to gag when I'm cooking with it. Oh, and he won't touch it either. Sigh - maybe we can convince Mountain Mike to package it and sell it through whole foods or something.

Hmmmm.....wondering if it would be taste free too.....lol....alot of things that we have tried....that have been "safe" have either been not...or one more free....taste free....sorry to be a poop...but I think we will stick to "Mom" made and be safe....our biggest issues is with good tasting GF/CF cheese....we use tofutii american...and it 's not bad...but not a real pizza cheese.

Re: Mountain Mike's Gluten Free Pizza in California

HI-
When we went GF/CF with Wynn when he was 3, cheese was one of his favorite foods to have to give up.  I tried the substitutes, and even made some cheeses from cashews  and tofu etc...that tasted okay, but nothing like cheese!  So, we started making pizza without any cheese at all....Just loaded it with sauce, black olives, green olives etc...and he accepted it without a problem.  Later, after he was on the diet for several years, he began to like GF/CF toasted bread with pizza sauce spread on it like butter.  Man, that sure made him happy.  So, tastebuds can change, and while they do, sometimes there is no substitute that will satisfy....
