What I like about Disney

What do you like about Disney?
just my favorite place ever because it is gorgeous
and mighty sanitary
highly animated and we stand in place for a
short time
handicapped signs are everywhere
public and private restrooms are available so my
mom can help me without having to go in the
womens bathroom
highly maintained and family oriented
great way to be a kid and no one thinks you are
too old to like it
if you tell them you are autistic they let you go ahead
just the one time in life that it comes in handy

You have a great attitude! It is nice that Disney recognizes the needs of those with disabilities with their special passes for the lines and the bathroom accomodations.....They seem to have thought of everything! I even hear that they have GF/CF items on their menus for those on special diets...

We are going at the end of April with my friends. Combined we will have three on the spectrum. It sounds like it will be so much fun to take them. I haven't been since '88.

We went several years back in April--and it was fantastic--but we ended up there during Spring Break, and the lines and the crowds were a nightmare. Stay away from the holidays

Wow I have never been to Disney how lucky are you to have been able to go there! Maybe one day we will be able to take Garrett. As you said this may be the only time that Garrett finds it handy to be autistic! Believe me he will use that to his advantage and it's about time that you guys get some sort of benefit isn't it! I like Disney because everyone can be a kid. I also enjoy not waiting in forever lines. We have paasses and go on a regular basis.
