A Thorn in my Pocket

Written by Eustacia Cutler, Temple Grandin's Mother.
Reading her views of Temple and raising her and dealing with Autism in a time when it wasn't really dealt with is pretty interesting to see it all from her point of view.

Oh...I have forgotten about that.  I think my mom may have a copy--I'll ask her to send it my way. Thanks!

Re: A Thorn in my Pocket

It is very good. Where Temple tells of how it feels inside the body and mind of being Autistic....her Mother examines how it feels being on the outside looking in. Not understanding completely what is happening and also dealing with people's feelings toward her child regarding Autism. I really felt for her.
