Homeschooling Moms

Are you looking forward to summer vacation?  I'm so ready to put the books away and relax for a couple of months!

Yes in a way. I do feel that life skills are the #1
important thing for these kids, how do you teach life skills?
I am still working with him just not as intense . Hope you have a
great summer!!

Re: Homeschooling Moms

We don't ever really put the books away here - it's a year-round schedule.  It just seems to work better for the crew all the way around, and I don't have to deal with the kids retaining what they were taught over long periods of downtime.   We do take time for breaks along the way - Christmas vacation, 4th of July travel, etc. - but since I view learning as part of the daily experience, we've always got something going!
