CHOCOLATE VICE CREAM GFCF
Makes 1 quart
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups organic raw cashews or cashew 1 cup maple syrup
pieces
1 3/4 cups water 2 teaspoons alcohol free vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon alcohol free almond extract
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
The vice cream will not come out properly if alcohol based extracts are used.
1. Combine cashews, water, syrup, vanilla and almond flavor in a blender.
2. Blend on high for at least one minute; with motor running add cocoa and blend until
well mixed.
3. Place blender in the freezer for 40 minutes to 1 hour (or in the refrigerator overnight)
4. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacture's instructions.
5. Serve immediately or store in a freezer until ready to use.
