Hi from CA!
Hi, I'm new here. A friend let me know about this group, and it looks great! (Thanks, 4muskateers...)
I am a working mom, a pastor's wife, and the mom to two wonderful and BUSY little autistic fellas! My oldest (I'll call him Bear) is very high functioning, and extremely verbal. My youngest (I'll call him Monkey) is nonverbal and is extremely active. His favorite things to do are climb to the highest point in any given room and jump from said point! He is able to shimmy up a doorjamb without using anything to boost himself up. (Hence the nickname!)
I look forward to learning more from all of you and helping out where I can.

Hello! You must find your faith to be a strong source of comfort for you! This site is also a wonderful place of support. I like your nicknames for your guys. I know that our house is so often like a true, three-ring circus (we have 3 very different, very active, very loud children) that sometimes all I can do is sit back, watch, and try to keep myself as calm and together as possible!
