1. Copy Gross Motor Movement ex: "do this Sammy" first get eye contact, throw a ball etc..
2. Communication ex: (5to 7 items ) by end of school year June 2009 give me this item shirt, pants etc..
3. Fine Motor using diffrent medias draw a vertial line, draw a circle HOH right now then verbal at first benchmark.
4.Safety: Teaching Stay With Me when we are walking or out in public , he is a runner. Have him hold on to my arm then fading to just touching my back.
(We have been walking daily for 3 weeks he is doing wonderfully)
5. His Name reconizing the letters
" SAMMY" showing him letter by LetterI have his name all over the house Posted. The "S" is in Red and the rest for now is black.
I like to not bore him or me but make teaching as fun as it can be. When we are working first we do a fun thing he likes then one he's not so excited about working on then fun again . We always end the day on a Fun task. I know there are many ways to do a task . Your ideas are all welcomed ! thanks everyone!!! Quincy , Sammy say's thanks too:)

Some ideas...

A couple of thoughts:
1. Imitate GM:
a. You should make a list of maybe 10 things you would like him to imitate. Then pick 3 that you want to start with.
b. Make it into a game and see if your other son will 'help'. (Kinda like Simon Says, but without the tricks.) Either your son (or whatever family member is willing) can be the leader while you help Sammy comply (and then comply yourself) so that he sees you do it too. The leader would say "(their name) says do this" and perform something on the list of 10. (That makes it more fun for the leader.) Tell them that for the 3 you need at least 3 of each - keep data only on those 3. And yes - I would keep data. If you need help with that let me know.
5. REcognize letters of his name. I think posting his name everywhere is great! Also, is he capable of matching. If so, I would create a lotto game with the letters of his name in it - and some stuff he really likes. Then he needs to match the letters when they come up. Also, you can progress to him asking for the letters or for more or whatever he is capable of while you hold the cards he needs for matching. Once again, keep data - but only on the letters - the other matches are just to make it fun.

Sammy's going to benefit from learning what you have to teach. Hope he meets these goals so fast you have to make new ones soon! Good job, Quincy!
