Ground-Breaking Autism Program To Have Major Impact On Care and Treatment

Individuals Affected By Autism Spectrum Disorders To Benefit Greatly From Innovative Program



Austin, TX - US Autism & Asperger Association (USAAA) is set to hold its third annual conference, the 2008 International Conference, from September 4-7, 2008 in Austin, Texas.



Dr. Phillip C. DeMio, USAAA Chief Medical Officer, will deliver a major announcement on the development of a program that will provide the highest standards for biomedical treatment of autism spectrum disorders. The press conference is scheduled for Friday, September 5th at 10:00am during the USAAA conference at the Hilton Austin Airport Hotel.



“The program is revolutionary and is a first of its kind in the world,” stated Dr. DeMio. “It will have a major impact on the care and treatment for all individuals affected by autism spectrum disorders.”



Lawrence P. Kaplan, PhD, Chairman of US Autism & Asperger Association said, “We are very excited that this ground-breaking program will be announced at our annual conference this week. The program brings health care providers and the entire autism community together in a way that will provide the support that has been missing.”



Actress, Singer, and Author Holly Robinson Peete will deliver the Keynote Address at the USAAA Conference which will also include more than 30 of the world's leading autism spectrum disorder experts who will discuss new treatment regimes and effective therapies never before presented to the public. The conference begins Thursday, September 4th at 11:45am.
