Well it sounds like the Threat Worked!

09-26-08
I know what you mean...I got three of them to get around in the morning...and as of yet...I'm still waiting for christian to complete a full week of school. So Yesterday I made the decision to have him put into a study hall...so that he can have help with make up work and such from his absences. I keep hoping that his stamina will get better and his absenses will become less and less.

Yeah, I think so...

Chris doesn't like getting up in the morning but what teenager does? Tee hee- Jarl has to get him up and to school since I have to be at work at 7 a.m. so I can be home for the afternoon shift. Jarl is not really a morning person and previous years Chris has been tardy more than once. The middle school is just a couple blocks away from where Jarl reports for work but the high school is clear across town so he has had to be more organized in the morning. HA!! I threatened to change my hours so I could get Chris off to school and Chris said NO! I want you home afterschool. Homework has been easy since it is in his IEP to get most of the homework done at school. YEA!!

Routine

09-15-08
It's amazing how much easier life gets with the routine. It's funny, by the end of the school year, I think I hate it, but by the end of the summer, I'm just soooo grateful when school starts!

excuses

09-06-08
what excuses have you heard for not being able to get to the homework??? Hear are a few from this bunch...

1...I didn't hear you calling
2...I neeed to go to the bathroom
3...I need to feed the cat
4...Oh yea, I need to feed the dog too
5...do you want a cup of coffee
6...do you want to watch the news
7...can I help with dinner
8...don't we need to go shopping
9...I need to rest my brain
10...If you give me the answers I will get done faster, you know this stuff, you always say, you already when to school, so help then...

Oh, there are more that include how the neighbor needs them.

I honestly do not know why I send these guys to school, they do more work at home than there...and I do not get paid...but go figure...a teacher gets paid to send the school work home for parents to teach, and some government fool, has stated that parents need to hold a degree to teach our own child, but a teacher with a degree can send the school work home and that is o.k.

running smooth here.

09-06-08
So far so good...praise GOD!, even having to get a two year old ready has gone smoothly...Julian just goes with the flow, and sits to work when I tell him too...Now the others are questionable, they have an excuse for not being able to sit and get there homework done...but in this house I am the commander and chief...and there are no re-election coming up soon, so they will comply because I said soooo...
