Ok, I know this happens with NT kids too but can someone give advice on what to do when your child (2.5 yrs) just keeps getting out of bed at naptime? It does not happen at night (I think he doesn't try bc it is dark). He just climbs out and plays with his toys.

My daughter wont nap either but she will stay in her room at that time, if he just plays with his toys and is safe the quiet time is good for him..

We have a bed tent, even though he knows how to open it he doesn't. I think your little guy may be trying to tell you he doesn't want a nap. Sometimes they just need downtime even if spent alone playing with his toys. Good luck, I am so glad mine still naps that is the only time I get anything done.
