Does anyone have suggestions or experiences about what works better, mouse, keyboard or even pen?

Julian does not like the mouse, he can't understand how to move it around. He will type words that are shown to him. We bought him a touch window and he does great with it, $395.00 but we can not get the thing to allow you to glide/drag arcoss to answer some questions.

my daughter could not seem to grasp the mouse, so we bought a touchscreen. After using the touchscreen for a few minutes, she instantly understood the mouse too and started using it like a pro. :-)

That's a $900 mouse skills lesson.

We still have the touchscreen and need to use it more. It is great for pointing.

The touch screen is a great idea. It reminds me that there is a new software company close to launching a new program for teaching those with autism and they use tablet pcs with touch screens. i may see if my sons school can do this as well.

My son's school has a touch screen for him. He is now learning to use the mouse a little but he holds it in one hand and clicks with the other.

Michael does better with a mouse. He does ok with the keyboard and hates a pen. James (NT) uses a laptop with a pen for his school work. The type of screen escapes me right now. He uses the pen to complete his worksheets on the laptop screen. I have a laptop with a touch screen and I prefer the keyboard. James' screen is more than a touch screen---I wish I could remember the type of screen his laptop has.
