Yeast Overgrowth

We are currently treating my son for an overgrowth of yeast. We started giving him Diflucan to kill off the yeast. Singulair to help with inflammation and probiotics to get good bacteria in. We have seen some good results, as he had some formed stools earlier this week. For some reason now though we are back to soft unformed stools. I'm thinking maybe something he's eating (i.e. too much diary?)

The DAN DR's have started using Natural ways to heal the gut, they have been doing this for years. As parents we just need to ask them for alternatives to Rx. They will be glad to comply.

We are currently treating jared for yeast also. we've been on SCD for 5 months now yah it does get easier! But even though jared has issues with foods we did an IGG 2 weeks ago and it showed his sinsativitys towards food the top 3 that bothers him the most is dairy, glutein, soy. But it has gotten better alot better. We just need to keep up the good work.

I look to the diet first whenever there is change in stools. Dairy can be a big cause for some kids. Mine would fall into that category.
