Discussion with Adults on the spectrum

I know several adults on the autism spectrum most of them are higher functioning. Some of them are lower functioning. Would any of you be interested in possiably having an open chat discussion with these adults. We can arrange this as an event. I am not sure how to do it yet, but if there is an interest we can work this out. I personally am inspired by these individuals and think its nice for us as parents of younger children to see where I kids could possiably be as adults. look foward to hearing some feedback

I would love this! My son John has doen chats with parents of my support group in the past and liked it, although some questions are hard for him to answer lol.
Sounds great

Hello, I am always open to hear any view directly from the individual with autism. I have worked with many age groups from 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th grade students with severe autism and now work in an adult transition class (formerly a 1 on 1 for 1.5 years with a 21 year old with severe). So, although, I don't have the personal experience, I have some experience understanding adult individuals diagnosed "severe" and relatively "non-verbal." I am also currently working on a high school senior project with a young man with Aspergers Syndrome and it's fascinating hearing his perspective on everything.
I think your idea is terrific.
