Who uses and what has been the impact on education?

The integrated pre-school my son as in video taped his sessions once a month and sent it home for us to review. They had the previous months on the same tape, so we could see the progress. It was also great for us in starting conversations about school with him, since we got an inside look at the activities, not just a name and breif explanation.

Hi all, I just heard of a couple of schools that do "video grading" with autistic students. They regularly video the same activities at specific time intervals and then store them electronically in a system like iabida. So, parents can check progress (or lack of progress) by selecting the date and then reviewing the same activities over time. Love the idea and will try to figure out some way that we can do this. Has anyone done this? Thoughts?
