have recently read an article on a good poison ivy killer is salt water. I haven't got to try it out yet.

Yes to kill the plant!! We had it in our yard really bad last year and I had to use the icky chemicals because I didn't know any other ways. So this year I plan on giving it a try. Hope it works.

Me too! I am in the process of changing over as well. Anything that will help, I will try! I like the idea for safety reasons as well.

I hope you don't have to get poison ivy to try it. I'm sure you mean spray it on the plant (he he)
