Summer

04-24-08
Hey all summer is coming and I'm curious as to what you have planned to keep your school age daughter's with ASD structured and developing skills. We are looking at our first attempt to integrate with the NT world through swimming lessons, dance or hoseback riding all of which I anticipate will have challenges from not wanting water in our face to energy levels and staying on task.

summer so far

06-14-08
It is going to be a long summer. Michelle is doing the typical teen thing, up all night and sleeps all day. Once the garden starts to come in she will be happy. By then she is almost ready to go back to school. I think that 3 months is too long for some of our kids to be out of school. Any suggestions as to what might help make a long summer a little easier?

Hi there!
My daughter is 7 and is attending the Pine Tree Camp this summer. The camp also has a day camp there as well. Might be something to look into. =) www.pinetreesociety.com
