Disturbing

04-27-08
I just read on someone's myspace page that the B12 injections contain mercury so that quit using them and starting using a powdered form. Do any of you know if this is true?? I sure hope not it is really disturbing me.

Thanks

Thanks, I didn't think that was the case. My grandfather got the B12 injections once a month from a vial from the local pharmacy so that one probably contained a preservative but not the compounded kind. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I feel better now.

mercury in B12

The methylB12 shots most ASD families are using do not contain any mercury. They are compounded and are preservative free. They are compounded from the powder. I am a pharmacist and have compounded the injections. The commercially available cyanocobalamin has a preservative but I am not sure what is used. I can check at work on Monday.
