I clip lavendar from my garden, & steep it in distilled water for about 20 mins. It makes a lovely air all natural air freshner. I also do the same thing with cedar chips that I buy at the pet store. After steeping I pass the liquid through a coffee filter & basket to remove suspended particles. Put it in a spray bottle & use as airfreshner. I do not have to worry about any harmul chemicals etc.
