Do you all feel safer discussing your children in a public or private group? I myself feel a little easier in a private setting if I am talking about personal information but it's up to everyone in the group.

I'm with Frogfoot. If it's really private, I'll send an email.

It does not matter to me, If it is too personal I would not post on the group. I would feel more comfortable doing individual emails in that instance.
