Have you ever explained where babies come from to anyone? How did it go when you explained ?

we watch the animal channel and the baby MD channel so they explained it.

I was pregnant with our fourth, and he wanted to know, so I told him. He decided that I was WRONG. He said, "Uh, no... I was born, a giant ball of burning gas..." After I picked myself off the floor and wiped my eyes, I said, "No, that's just what it felt like, but YOU were born a human, not a planet or a star."

One of my friends,Kristen, was pregnant and Corvus was naturally curious. I tried to explain and found that I was not really great at it. So - we got several books at the library - we read them (several times) and discussed what we read. A few days later, Corvus came to me with a drawing he wanted me to give to Kristen. In the middle of it was a little head with a smile, the rest looked like lots of scribbles. So I asked him to explain it to me. He said, this is Kristen's baby. He is in Kristen's womb. These are her ovaries and this is the vagina so he can get out. I am so glad that Kristen is an early childhood person becuase she loved the picture and understood the greatness of it. Corvus is now 8 and the picture is still hanging in Kristen's office. Deb
