If you could go back to a different era in time which one would you pick?

I would love to go back to around 1830's when my family immagrated to this country. I would love to have been part of the Pioneers who moved west to settle this country.

I have to second the motion that Mom2Brea posted. One thing I feel is lacking nowadays is respect. Adults were addressed as Mr.or Mrs. and children knew what was expected of them. This is how I was raised, and how I am raising our son.

I agree with Mom2Brea, back when things were simpilier and people were friendly, you had extended families to help raise kids, you grew/raised your own food. My favorite era to read about is the middle ages but I don't think I would like to live back then, lol.

As long as I didn't have to stay very long (!) I'd love to see the 1780's, when this country was just starting up.

I would like to go back and live when my grandparents were my age, raising a family. Neighbors were neighborly and family were your life. Back before TV. Internet (this is a short visit right? )LOL... simplier times.. (I Love these questions) !!!
