Parent Workshops

01-15-08
Coming up in Skowhegan is a great series of parent workshops for
parents of kids 3-6 with autism spectrum disorders. These workshops
are free and have free childcare with qualified providers. They even
offer dinner for adults and kids. The teacher is Dr. Nancy Ponzetti-
Dyer from Edmund Irving Pediatrics, and she has a way of teaching new
strategies and offering emotional support at the same time.

The dates of these sessions are 2/7, 2/21, 3/6, 3/20, 4/3, and 4/17.
Parents who sign up should come to all 6 sessions, so they receive on-going support and meet other parents going through the same things.

There are still openings, so please spread the word. To sign up, call Renee Randazzo, at the Children's Center 626-7598.
