I've almost blown through another pair of cheap walking shoes. The ones I have are the kind with springs or something for cushioning, which I like, but there's not much sole underneath, and they wear out much faster. Does anyone have a favorite kind of shoe for serious walking?

When I was a waitress, I wore the Niki walking shoes also. THey were comfortable and supportive - and they held up to the pressure.

When I worked in the nursing homes I liked the Nike walking shoes. My feet didn't ache nearly as bad. Good luck.
