We will try this. The phone is only 8 months old. We are thinking of getting track phones beause with the new law we are not really using them anyway. Oh yea dose anyone have a track phone now that I think of it?

Juliam last week drenched my greataunts cell phone...she took it with her to the pool. and of course with Julian splashing water everywhere the phone got drenched...we dried it off, took it apart, and dried the batttery and set it out to dry on the window fan...in the morning it turned on but nothing else...when she got home she charged it up and wala it is working fine again.

I worked with a child who got up in the middle of the night one night, found all the phones in the house, put them in the toilet and flushed. You can just imagine. And no, none of them was salvagable. Sorry about yours. Deb

I agree with Emily I would have not wanted to pick it up. I am actually taking to At and T right now and they say I have to get a new phone . Just wanted to pass that on for anyone this may happen too.

I'm so sorry! Both about the washer and dryer and about the urinal... I'll bet you thought twice about picking it up again!

I have done this before. & I droped it off my belt right into the urinal. If, it is under warranty even it is voided. They put a little sticker under the battery that turns pink if it gets wet. You can do what I did & remove the sticker usually just a little circle. You can peel it off & replace it with a white sticker if you are a bit dishonest like me ;)
