An autistic youth who scored 20 points in under four minutes in his only varsity basketball game is coming out with a new book.
Jason McElwain's six 3-pointers at his suburban Rochester high school on Feb. 15, 2006, made highlight reels nationally and earned him an ESPN ESPY award for "Best Moment." The Greece Athena High School student went on to meet President Bush.
Now McElwain, known as "J-Mac," is coming out with "The Game of My Life: A True Story of Challenge, Triumph and Growing Up Autistic."
