Without overestimation, imagine literally hundreds of young children, all together in the same play area at the same time. Next, imagine that each of the children is equipped with his or her own personal-size bubble blower. On Friday, with a beautifully warm spring day augmented by a cloudless, clear blue sky, this was the scene at the Lawrence Elementary School in Wantage.
Lawrence School teacher Jennifer Bork is a teacher who specializes in teaching a class of first and second grade students who have autism. This year, she arranged a school-wide bubble-blowing event to promote autism awareness for the month of April.
