Autism can't stop Lipman from having fun working at Applebee's restaurant

Lipman has been doing food preparation at a Tallahassee Applebee's restaurant for about four years. An affable man who is popular with his co-workers, Lipman is diagnosed with autism. He loves his job, and when Lipman's birthday comes around, the restaurant staff remembers.
"Mark is a good, dependable employee," Phillip Dahm, the restaurant's general manager said. "He's always on time, and he does everything that he's asked to do. Once you tell him something, you don't have to tell him again. And he gets along great with all the cooks in the kitchen."
