Here is a link to the three organizations that hold "respite monies" however anyone with a child with special challenges should consider getting a list of "certified providers" to know that background checks have been done and that there is quality care available. For those thinking of traveling to Maine and would like to have an extra set of hands - the list can provide you with people to contact to see if they have time to assist. If you can not get the list from the agencies - contact me - I may be able to pre-screen and give you a few ideas and options.
