The National Autism Association (NAA), has chosen Fort Lauderdale as the hosting city for their 2008 National Autism Conference. The comprehensive four-day conference is scheduled for November 13 through 16 at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure, an environmentally-friendly "green" hotel.
Congressman Dave Weldon (R-FL) will deliver the keynote address. A long-time advocate for children with autism, the Congressman has been responsible for spearheading efforts to eliminate toxins from vaccines, and investigate the link between mercury and autism.
The conference will also feature the world's most renowned experts, who will share their knowledge and expertise with parents and practitioners on topics including cutting-edge environmental research, dietary and behavioral interventions, legal and legislative strategies, insurance coverage, autism safety, marital/relationship coaching, and more.
