Hi,
My name is Diana, I have one daughter (27) and four boys (22) (14) (13) and (9). I have 1 grand-daughter in heaven and four grand-sons (7) (4) (1) and (2). I have been happily married for 14 years and 12 of them have been with the challenges of autism, and year 15 is this May. I used to hold support meetings for parents here in Madera, I did this for 4 1/2 years...But do to the lack of parental interest in recovering these children, In July of 2007, I stopped the support group...I still provide resources when the local agencies ask for them. Now we try and do as many family outings as possible. I homeschool Julian, and I am his teacher, doctor, nurse, one on one aide, and therapist for everything.
As long as God gives be breath, I will continue to keep looking under every stone, and move as many mountains as possible to help Julian recover, and be all GOD intended him to be. May GOD's glory shine through Julian for the world to see. amen y amen.

2 years ago Julian's eye Dr. checked his eyes using 15 different prisms...Dr. Y found that Julian could read better and focus better if he was given glasses tinited blue...he showed Julian sentences on different colored paper and found that the blue was the best for Julian...He examined Dante' and found him to need a yellow tint to keep the eyes from getting irriatated...This Dr. Y works with the special needs children and adults...he is great...we even went thorugh vision therapy...Julian's problem was corrected, but Dante' still needs more work...but then again Dante' needs vitamin A where Julian does not...according to Dr.Y the boys inherited this problem from me...you can see it in the eye picture that was taken...At home if I am reading for a long time...I will place over pages a pink plastic see through divider and I can see so clear...it is fasinating.Try it on your self...the palstic sheets are $3.00 at walmart...

Hi all. I can help with info if anyone is interested. The official site which is really mind blowing is under Irlene Syndrome and can be seacrhed via the web. It is to with the eyes working together and often people who do not focus properly because theirs eyes are not aligned together causes the brain lots of decoding problems. The use of coloured overlays helps correct this problem and the colours can vary from person to person. Generally once the patient has has an overlay for about six months and continued to find it helpful then glasses with the appropriate colour are then advisable. Also you can look up the WWW.i.o.o.org.co.uk they are a private optomitrists in London. Professor Arnold Wilkins of the visual perception unit of the University of Essex. I could talk all day... Please let me know how I can help with info for all... cheers Bubs x x

I really like red myself. I get eye strain. I know my son is attracted to yellow and red and my daughter is attracted to yellow as well. They are a little young for me to tell. I could find someone to let me know. I just haven't gotten around to it yet at 2 and 5.
