Hi,
My name is Diana, I have one daughter (27) and four boys (22) (14) (13) and (9). I have 1 grand-daughter in heaven and four grand-sons (7) (4) (1) and (2). I have been happily married for 14 years and 12 of them have been with the challenges of autism, and year 15 is this May. I used to hold support meetings for parents here in Madera, I did this for 4 1/2 years...But do to the lack of parental interest in recovering these children, In July of 2007, I stopped the support group...I still provide resources when the local agencies ask for them. Now we try and do as many family outings as possible. I homeschool Julian, and I am his teacher, doctor, nurse, one on one aide, and therapist for everything.
As long as God gives be breath, I will continue to keep looking under every stone, and move as many mountains as possible to help Julian recover, and be all GOD intended him to be. May GOD's glory shine through Julian for the world to see. amen y amen.

Hi Diana~ Yes I am praying with you!! How is Noah feeling now? If you can, push the fluids on him, at least by small spoonfuls. Jello is a good option or maybe a popsicle. I am also praying for the babies. As Beausmom stated~ if God brings you to it, He will get you through it. This is the first quote I put on my page when I joined Foggyrock, and I am a firm believer in it! Please keep us posted. Hugs~ Stephanie

Hi Diana, Good luck with court. Sounds like there's a lot on your plate. Sorry to hear about Noah's fever. Was this after he had the acupuncture session? Sometimes, a fever can be the body trying to cleanse itself of some kind of toxin. If it's after acupuncture, I'd give the acupuncturist a call for suggestions. If not, I'd use some liquid Motrin, if Noah can tolerate it. Kyle used to get wicked fevers. I found, for him, immersing him in a warm tepid bath helped. I didn't use hot water because it made him too uncomfortable, especially with being so hot to start off with. I would immerse him in a nicely warmed bath, trying to keep him as still and clam as possible for about 10-15 minutes. I'd put a small amount of bubbles for entertainment! I think the warm water helped to open his pores and "let some of the heat out"! We'd dry him well, rubbing his limbs, back and chest somewhat rigorously with a thick towel and then we'd pop him into some cotton pajamas. He wasn't a big Gatorade fan, so we would water down some pear juice with Pedialyte to keep him well hydrated! Feel better!! Lesa

Diana, Yes dear I have prayed for you. As the tears roll down my face I have asked God to be with you and to comfort you and Noah. I pray for Noah's fever to go down. I pray that God's will will be done in your life. Oh how I pray for those two little babies. I am asking God for His will to be done for them. You have your hands full already, but if God brings you to it He will bring you through it. To God be the glory He is Holy Holy Holy. Bless you dear. I have grown to love you from just being on here with you and communicating with you through Foggy Rock. Blessings to you and your family you are in my prayers. Shirley
