4muskateers's Bio

Hi,

My name is Diana,  I have one daughter (27) and four boys (22) (14) (13) and (9).  I have 1 grand-daughter in heaven and four grand-sons (7) (4) (1) and (2).  I have been happily married for 14 years and 12 of them have been with the challenges of autism, and year 15 is this May.  I used to hold support meetings for parents here in Madera, I did this for 4 1/2 years...But do to the lack of parental interest in recovering these children, In July of 2007, I stopped the support group...I still provide resources when the local agencies ask for them.  Now we try and do as many family outings as possible. I homeschool Julian, and I am his teacher, doctor, nurse, one on one aide, and  therapist for everything.

As long as God gives be breath, I will continue to keep looking under every stone, and move as many mountains as possible to help Julian recover, and be all GOD intended him to be.   May GOD's glory shine through Julian for the world to see.   amen y amen.

Hi All, I just spent last Sat. w/ Pete in St. Augustine FL. His presentations are really thorough, but I think I still have some residual brain swelling from info overload. His presentations are phenomenal, but if you do a 1 day instead of a 2 day, it's a lot to absorb. The one good thing about traveling to a seminar is a lot of times FREE books are included. The FDDC put together enough grants that FLA parents were able to sign up for FREE. Pete gave 4 seminars around the state in Aug. I learned a lot. If you haven't already signed up for the Wright's Law newsletter, do it. It's free, there's great info, the Wright's very often answer e-mail questions and they frequently offer mini learning courses! Lesa W

Some of my friends have gone to local trainings, and loved them. It's good to know I don't have to travel to Houston for them!
