Hi,
My name is Diana, I have one daughter (27) and four boys (22) (14) (13) and (9). I have 1 grand-daughter in heaven and four grand-sons (7) (4) (1) and (2). I have been happily married for 14 years and 12 of them have been with the challenges of autism, and year 15 is this May. I used to hold support meetings for parents here in Madera, I did this for 4 1/2 years...But do to the lack of parental interest in recovering these children, In July of 2007, I stopped the support group...I still provide resources when the local agencies ask for them. Now we try and do as many family outings as possible. I homeschool Julian, and I am his teacher, doctor, nurse, one on one aide, and therapist for everything.
As long as God gives be breath, I will continue to keep looking under every stone, and move as many mountains as possible to help Julian recover, and be all GOD intended him to be. May GOD's glory shine through Julian for the world to see. amen y amen.

Water, Water, and more Water!!!This child of ours thinks he is a fish...Julian takes shower or baths 4 to 6 times a day...we go through soap and shampoo like you wouldn't believe...then we have a 9 year old who swears one more bath and he will melt away...does anyone one else have a child like this...This all started when Julian was 4 and he potty trained himself...with every poop, came a bath...now he thinks this is a great way to relax...Oh! best of all is he doesn't care who's house he is in, if there is a shower avaliable...that's where you will find Julian...and people well people are so great, they offer him the soap and shampoo too...I have got to love them...

That is funny. I think Michelle plays Little Mermaid in the tub. She splashes water to the ceiling.
