Hi,
My name is Diana, I have one daughter (27) and four boys (22) (14) (13) and (9). I have 1 grand-daughter in heaven and four grand-sons (7) (4) (1) and (2). I have been happily married for 14 years and 12 of them have been with the challenges of autism, and year 15 is this May. I used to hold support meetings for parents here in Madera, I did this for 4 1/2 years...But do to the lack of parental interest in recovering these children, In July of 2007, I stopped the support group...I still provide resources when the local agencies ask for them. Now we try and do as many family outings as possible. I homeschool Julian, and I am his teacher, doctor, nurse, one on one aide, and therapist for everything.
As long as God gives be breath, I will continue to keep looking under every stone, and move as many mountains as possible to help Julian recover, and be all GOD intended him to be. May GOD's glory shine through Julian for the world to see. amen y amen.

It is on very, very rare occasions that we see my husbands teeth. The man never smiles, I call him shrek. But these last two months that we have been doing the allergy elimination treatments with Julian dad has been all smiles and has been talking to Julian a lot, a lot more. Last night I was so happy to see him playing with Julian I couldn't help but say "hey you have been smile so much lately you are going to have wrinkles by your next birthday". He looks up at me and says "oh ya, then you better go by me some of that goo woman put on their faces so they don't get wrinkles". We just laughed because Dante' came in at the end of the comment and he said "dad wants to be a woman?" It is a wonderful blessing that dad can see the changes in Julian for himself. I'll pray he doesn't look like a prune by Aug, because he isn't acting like one who is 89 years old any more.

I know the feeling my husband doesnt smile that much either but soo glad yours is finally coming around.

Well, if he does, he'll look like a HAPPY 89 year old. I'm just glad he's been so happy.

Whats allergy elimintion? Is it like the IGG? The reason I'm asking is Jared's on the SCD diet and on the 11th he has to go and have an IGG blood test done to see what his sensativitys are towards foods if any. Husbands do come around it just takes them longer. I hope things keep going strong for your family.
