4muskateers's Bio

Hi,

My name is Diana,  I have one daughter (27) and four boys (22) (14) (13) and (9).  I have 1 grand-daughter in heaven and four grand-sons (7) (4) (1) and (2).  I have been happily married for 14 years and 12 of them have been with the challenges of autism, and year 15 is this May.  I used to hold support meetings for parents here in Madera, I did this for 4 1/2 years...But do to the lack of parental interest in recovering these children, In July of 2007, I stopped the support group...I still provide resources when the local agencies ask for them.  Now we try and do as many family outings as possible. I homeschool Julian, and I am his teacher, doctor, nurse, one on one aide, and  therapist for everything.

As long as God gives be breath, I will continue to keep looking under every stone, and move as many mountains as possible to help Julian recover, and be all GOD intended him to be.   May GOD's glory shine through Julian for the world to see.   amen y amen.

Well today Julian continued with this odd fever....104* down to 101* back to 104*. At 10:30pm. I told dad lets take Julian to the hospital, no matter what I do I can't break this fever. So off we went... Julian is such a trooper. At the ER. Julian's temp. read 104.6* He was given a bag of IV.fluids, popcicles and water to drink...he was dehydrated, he had not peepee'd all day. I asked dad if he remembered the last time we were here with Julian, he said yes, and looked sad....Julian was 2 years old the last time he needed and IV. See because he didn't talk, on a hot summers day no one at the daycare bothered to give him water....sad part was I worked there too. They said sorry, he didn't ask for any water... I quit! Well we came home when the temp. dropped to 101. He didn't want them to give him the IV. But he did let them do their job.
