Hi,
My name is Diana, I have one daughter (27) and four boys (22) (14) (13) and (9). I have 1 grand-daughter in heaven and four grand-sons (7) (4) (1) and (2). I have been happily married for 14 years and 12 of them have been with the challenges of autism, and year 15 is this May. I used to hold support meetings for parents here in Madera, I did this for 4 1/2 years...But do to the lack of parental interest in recovering these children, In July of 2007, I stopped the support group...I still provide resources when the local agencies ask for them. Now we try and do as many family outings as possible. I homeschool Julian, and I am his teacher, doctor, nurse, one on one aide, and therapist for everything.
As long as God gives be breath, I will continue to keep looking under every stone, and move as many mountains as possible to help Julian recover, and be all GOD intended him to be. May GOD's glory shine through Julian for the world to see. amen y amen.

Well last night in the ER. as the tech was taking Julian vitals he asked if his vaccines were up to date... I said he only had them up unitl he was 7 years old. He glanced at me side ways and said " did you stop because you got lazy or what" my mouth fell open and said "huh...I stopped because at 8 years old we were told he was not immune to D.P., polio and his vaccine titers for the MMR are in the high 300's and now we have regressive autism and documented vaccine injury, is there anything else you need to know" he bowed his head and continued typing and never looked my way again...he mumbled you can wait out side and I had to ask him what he said, this time he said it louder, but still only looked at his screen.

People are so used to telling you what is going on rather than asking, so he got what a lot of folks deserve. Good for you! If it helps him learn more about disabilities in general and increases his sensitivity overall, then good for him too.
