If you can find children who would be friends via this site that would be great...if kids can post there likes and interests then our kids can choose who is best to fit in with them and they can have plenty to discuss...We have a son (14) and goinh into the 10th grade, who is on this site ambassador4autism...his interest are History, Language, Art and Music (key Board) and singing...so anyone out there with one or more of these intrests send Victor a message...He would love to make friends...we also have a (9) year old son who likes wreslting he is here too warrior4autism...send him a note too...these guys would love it.

You're exactly right! Thank you for posting this. The people with Asperger's that I know sometimes behave oddly, sometimes not. I guess what's important here is to look beyond the differences and see the person. There are some ignorant, and some plain mean people out there, but from where I sit, there are many, many people, including kids who are really trying to reach out. Good teachers and open-minded parents really do make a difference.
