Hi all, I don`t have a child with Autism but I have worked with many.I work with developementally disabled adults right now.The entire field is so rewarding day after day..some small ways and some big. My niece has autism. I love and have been around her all her life. She has good days and bad ones. She has come such a long way. Her mom is so supportive of her and makes sure she gets all she needs. She is 9. Her sister is 10 and treats her with love. She has always respected her and somehow understood she needs extra help. Their dad(my brother) died suddenly two years ago and my youngest neice has started acting out and hurting herself and others.I`m hopeing that with this site I can forward help to my sister-in-law .
