I have a young adult daughter with autism. She just graduated in 07 after 20 years in EI and special ed. We are a post military family. We were one of the first families called up for the war in Iraq. I have lived in the US most of my life but have lived in Canada as well. I help moderate a military support group and will bid adieu to two long time autism support groups on MSN.
I fight for the laws to be changed to help our kids and all special needs populations. My daughter has other issues with past seizures and current gi issues. Cancer is my other cause as it too my mom last year and to many others in my family.

More.. Autism is not all bad. It can come with no other medical issues or it can came with seizures, gi issues, celiac disease. You can still have a life wit on - 10/20/08

the 23 Psalm, footprints in the sand, it was my mom's favorite. Helps me when times are tough to know I am not alone but god is with me and my family....
