Hi! I'm Susan, 50, mom to three great kids, 13 year old boy/girl twins and a ten year old daughter (NT). After many years of working fulltime some health issues have driven me home. I'm enjoying it! (Not sure dh appreciates the loss of my income).
My son has Aspergers Syndrome and his twin sister is showing traits in a greater way as she enters adolesence. Our youngest is neurotypical. Life in our world is very busy and challenging!
Our last name is Fogg (really) and we often refer to our household as the Foggy Five. My dh is on the spectrum also so, sometimes I feel just a bit crazy.

This morning my son came back from the bus stop accompanied by a parent. He had been sucker punched in the stomach by a kid who had budged in front of the line to get on the bus. DS, who thinks his space is entirely his own asked the boy to move and when he did not, probably elbowed the kid. One action does not justify the other. It's my mantra in dealing with aggression at home. Why do our kids seem to attract those who zero in on their social weakness' and seemingly set them up for trouble?
Off to school we went to meet with his emotional support teacher and the principal. The EST gets it. The principal, well we have some educating to do.
Tears for my son who endures each day...
