I am the dad of my 4 y/o daughter Liv. She was dx in August of 07. Liv is my only child. If you stop by my page leave me a post below. God Speed to you all.
I am in my mid 30's recently divorced (unrelated to autism & pre-regression). Liv & I enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. This summer I hope to take her camping with me. BTW, I am the worst speller of all time please take a laugh at how I spell ;)

Liv has finally figured out how to use the potty & is doing it all the time. I don't know what happened but it clicked. Now all of a sudden she will pull down her pants & waddle to the bathroom. She will even do it on her own.
Anyway, it may be a small win but it is still a win

She is so cute... After she pee's she frantically grabs the bowl out of her potty very excitedly.. Then she can't wait to pour it in the tolilet. She washes her hands & runs to her little silverware drawer grabs her spoon & hastefully opens the freezer grabbing her rice cream... She has her little routine with it & it is so full of accomplishment & excitement.

She must be so proud of herself! This is a big deal--a big step, and it is meaningful in more than one way. If this clicks for her, so will many other tasks in the future....Yea!

YEA!!! I just posted yesterday how my son has been dry for 3 days and this is his year to be potty trained. I agree with others it is a BIG !! Deal way to go Liv . Us fellow foggy rockers are proud of you!

That is FANTASTIC, Hurray for you all. one big step into the normal arena... For our kids, a small step is as huge a task as climbing Mt. Everst. Acheivement well done.

Congrats! That is a BIG WIN! (in my book anyway) Less diapers to change. We are working on it all right now. My son is BM training now (can pee pee) and my daughter is getting used to sitting on the potty.

great news! I remember how things would all of a sudden click for andy and he would get it! Like when his school spent a over a year trying to teach him colors. Then one day he got it and he learned his primary colors in a week.
