MAE Project, Maine Autism Education Project

I am a wife and mother to two children.  Ruth, 20 years old and Addie, 9 years old.  Addie has autism.  I'm also a full-time student, graduating this December 2008.

I am the founder and sole coordinator of the Maine Autism Resource Fair.  This year, October 11, 2008 will be the fourth fair I've put on. Over 600 people particpate in the fair. It's held at the Augusta Civic Center, Augusta Maine.  The Keynote speaker will be Dr. Vincent Carbone and there are six workshops offered.  Generally there are about forty exhibitors. The fair is free to attendees.
