I'm a mom of 4 children, 3 boys, 1 girl, all under the age of 6!  My two middle children, Mitchell (4) and Owen (3), are HFA, diagnosed by a pediatric neurologist at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.  Owen is also hyperlexic. I'm 38, living in rural Maryland, with my husband of 9 years.  I have a few hobbies, like reading, computing, and making jewelry, although I don't often have a lot of time for them!

I've just sent off THREE of them to start school this fall, after having all of them home the majority of the time, so things are getting a bit less chaotic in our household, although now we've got the whole IEP/school issues to deal with.  It's a trade-off, I suppose!
