Daniel stopped singing in Third Grade. We don't really know why. He's been singing some at home, just starting this year, along with his favorite recorded songs. He especially likes, "If I Didn't Have You," a song from the movie, "Quest for Camelot." The two characters who sing that song are conjoined dragons, and Daniel loves dragons.

Today, for the first time ever, he sang in church.

He sang bass.

I turned and stared at him with tears in my eyes as the rest of the church continued singing the hymn. How could they know that a small miracle was taking place? He's overcome his fear of organ music, of my soprano singing (okay, not entirely. The high notes are still a problem), and was able to organize himself in a room filled with people. He read the words, and sang in HARMONY.

I can not tell you anything different that we've been doing to help him progress. I don't know, maybe I gave him extra fish oil this week?

He sang! I don't know why, but he did it!
