I'm a 29 year old single mother of two living in Brookline, MA. I have a 9 year old son and an 11 year old daughter.
Devan is a great little brother to his older sister but we still have our challenges. Sydney is a sweet, affectionate young lady with Autism who is growing with each day. Over the years Sydney has earned some silly nicknames like the TV terrorist (because she's always turning it off when we're trying to watch) and the condiment crusader (because she's made some serious messes with ketchup) she's been finding better ways of expressing her needs and desires lately and that makes us proud.

Today is the first day of summer school for Sydney. I prepared her as best I could but it's tough to say how prepared she actually was. Then again, I on - 07/06/09More..
