hi my name is seth and i am sixteen years old i am non verbal and i have autism
everyone in a family
you try to breach the silence barrier
to let people get to know you but its awful hard to
act sedate when you panic inside
i mostly want to tell people that we are apparently healthy
but maybe we are really sick and desperate for someone
to decipher all our symptoms and give us a treatment
that will ascertain our recovery and give us a chance to
bolt away from autism and be who we were born to be
we are autistic and sad to say real behaviorally challenged
we are normal in our minds and we are dominated by autism
we totally understand all that is said
highly autistic is actually not lost in autism
though autistic people seem lost
they are just trapped
like fog in the morning
it is trapped between places
mist and water
autism is like that
trapped between what we are and
what we are supposed to be
hard to look typical when we give bad impressions to others
we try peoples patience but we dont mean to
families just hope that others wont notice
but they do
desperate to say help and afraid at the same time
the second you get comfortable autism stares you in the face
and saw that you were somewhat typical then
slams you back into reality
totally happy to say that i do talk in my mind and one
day it will just leak out of my mouth and all will be amazed
glory to god
i will sing his praises loudly with my voice
i welcome any thoughts or questions
seth
god loving friend with autism

My Prayer
By Seth McKinley
lord
great things are possible if we trust you to guide our lives
hope is a real possibility if we let you plan our destiny
no one knows better than i do how lives can be changed and how sadness can prevent a lesson in life to be learned
i want to thank you for saving me by sending your precious son to rid me of a sin that all people are born in to
i thank you jesus for the gift of communication that you have given to me
i thank you for a family that has loved me inspite of my disability
you are glorious
i place my life in your loving hands
use me to bring awareness to the plight of the disabled
and to the plight of the unsaved
in jesus precious name i pray
amen

Seth, Again you DO have a beautiful soul. A precious love for Christ Jesus and a gift for speaking to Him and others. Your voice is beautiful to me. You are a angel in disguise Jesus loves you dearly Seth and nothing pleases Him more than to know that He is so close toyour thoughts and thankfulness at all times. God hears your prayers, Loves you and is prepareing a place for you. The BIGGEST Mansion in heaven I bet. My Garrett will be living right next door to you.;u) You guys will be great friends worshipping Christ together. The first thing Garrett learned to do is pray. That pleases God and He finds favor towards children. But your growing so fast . Your words tell us all how fast and wise you truly are! I love hearing from you! God Bless You Seth I will never stop praying for you so always know that you are loved and prayed for by many! Stephanie & Garrett Kaelin 8 year old with autism

Seth, What a beautiful soul you have. God has given you a gift with writing. No one but Jesus Christ matters on this earth. All we have, all we are or all we ever hope to be is in His precious nail scarred hands. May Jesus reach down and touch you and add to the Holy Spirit that is in you a 1,000 fold. God bless you. In Jesus' hands, Shirley and Beau Buttram
